Embedded Software Engineer - Web

Location: Mossville, Illinois, United States; full-time onsite work five days a week. Domestic relocation assistance is available, and travel is up to 10%.

Salary: $97,530–$146,290 per year.

hirify.global's CTCT division, a joint venture with Trimble, develops positioning and control products for earthmoving and paving machines used in construction and mining.

What you will do

• Integrate positioning, control, and commissioning components using C++ and Angular.
• Build and test software in a SIL environment.
• Create automated software tests for Grade Control products.
• Develop software deployed on real-time hardware and contribute to new product and process design.
• Maintain and archive design documents, models, source code, and other project work products.
• Communicate designs and analysis results with customers, suppliers, software developers, validation engineers, quality engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science program.
• Experience developing software in a specific language and platform, including object-oriented and component-based development.
• Knowledge of unit testing, technical and code reviews, and interpreting functional and technical specifications.
• Analytical thinking, effective communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work full-time onsite at the Mossville, Illinois office.

Nice to have

• Front-end development experience.
• Experience with real-time operating systems and real-time embedded control systems.
• Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science.
