Application Architect (Cloud/Integration)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States

Base pay: $92,700–$167,500 annually, with eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Align project-specific designs with the application architecture roadmap.
• Support project and product teams with functional and technical design activities.
• Define interactions between application packages, databases, and middleware systems.
• Act as a subject matter expert for products requiring application integration.
• Design application features, prototypes, and solutions across systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of information technology experience, technical certification or college coursework and 6 years of experience, or 8 years of information technology experience.
• Experience with application or product feature design, application configuration, and design patterns.
• Experience with application development platforms or languages including HTML, CSS, Java, React, ASP.NET, PHCSC, Ruby, or C#.
• Experience with cloud computing, DevOps, continuous integration or deployment, and related tools.
• Experience with integration technologies, iterative or Agile development, Scrum, and solution architecture.
• Strong application domain knowledge, analytical thinking, problem solving, teamwork, and collaboration.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Product-specific application architecture experience.
• Ability to connect solutions across systems.
