Solution Architect

Location: Hybrid, with a minimum of 3 days per week at the St. Louis Corporate Office in Saint Louis, Missouri, USA. Work-from-home requests must follow the company policy.

Salary: $116,500–$150,500 per year, with additional potential compensation through holiday bonuses and incentive awards.

What you will do

• Design scalable, secure, reliable, and sustainable technology solutions supporting strategic business initiatives.
• Translate business needs and capabilities into solution architecture guidance aligned with enterprise standards.
• Document end-to-end initiative solution diagrams using C4 or a similar standard.
• Work with Product Management, Agile Release Trains, product teams, and architecture leaders on solution delivery.
• Evaluate solution alternatives and address complex integration and interoperability challenges.
• Advise teams on modern engineering practices, architectural decisions, and long-term business value.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 7 or more years of experience in solution architecture, software engineering, systems integration, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience designing and supporting complex, multi-system enterprise solutions.
• Knowledge of system integration, APIs, application design, data flows, cloud environments, and non-functional requirements such as security, scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate across business and technology teams in an Agile environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship by hirify.global.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agile or SAFe delivery environments.
• Familiarity with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, observability, and modern engineering practices.
• Experience evaluating vendor platforms and emerging technologies for enterprise adoption.
• SAFe, TOGAF, Microsoft Azure, cloud architecture, or enterprise architecture certifications.
