Safety and Security Manager

Location: Mountlake Terrace, Washington, United States; on-site

Salary: $101,900–$173,200 per year

What you will do

• Lead and continuously improve occupational safety, physical security, workplace violence prevention, and emergency management programs across all locations.
• Develop safety and security policies, standards, procedures, inspections, incident reviews, corrective actions, and risk mitigation plans.
• Lead emergency preparedness drills, exercises, incident response, and employee safety and security awareness training.
• Oversee physical security systems, Security Operations Center activities, security technologies, vendors, budgets, contracts, and equipment lifecycle planning.
• Partner with Human Resources, Facilities, Information Security, Legal, Risk Management, Business Continuity, business leaders, and local law enforcement.
• Lead team members and provide on-site support for inspections, incident response, employee engagement, construction, renovation, and workplace improvement projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least five years of experience in security operations, investigations, physical security, or security program management, including three years with physical security technologies and external vendors.
• Three years of people leadership experience and three years of developing and delivering safety training programs.
• Current, valid driver’s license and ability to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED and OSHA certifications within six months of hire.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements including OSHA, DOSH, WISHA, HITRUST, HIPAA, and SOC.

Nice to have

• Experience with Lenel, Milestone XProtect, access control, video surveillance, and other enterprise physical security technologies.
• Experience managing vendors, security contracts, third-party service providers, and facility management technologies.
