Supervisor, Machine Shop, First Shift (Aerospace)

Location: Long Beach, California, United States. First shift, Monday through Friday, 5:00am–3:30pm PT, with a baseline expectation of a 50-hour workweek and occasional overtime.

Hiring range: $112,000–$168,000 USD annually, plus salary and equity benefits.

What you will do

• Own and be accountable for several teams of CNC operators.
• Lead people leaders across the machine shop operations floor.
• Support long-term strategic operations and manufacturing solutions on the shop floor.
• Identify manufacturing process gaps and analyze their impact on the production system.
• Administer and delegate daily work assignments.
• Mentor and coach team members in pursuit of their career goals.

Requirements

• Experience identifying manufacturing process gaps and analyzing their production-system impact.
• Experience administering and delegating daily work assignments.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Availability for the first-shift schedule and a baseline 50-hour workweek.
