hirify.global develops Terran R, a launch vehicle designed to deliver customer payloads to orbit, along with the factory and manufacturing systems required for scaled launch.

What you will do

  • Support primary structure assembly work centers on the shop floor by clearing barriers and keeping production moving.
  • Lead process improvements across multiple work centers and incorporate lessons from the first Terran R build.
  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, reliability, production, and external vendor teams to resolve process constraints.
  • Create work instructions, specifications, and best practices for high-fidelity manufacturing processes.
  • Provide Design for Manufacturing feedback through prototype and flight builds.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, aeronautical, mechanical, or another engineering discipline.
  • At least 2 years of progressive, related experience.
  • Hands-on experience supporting complex assembly builds and making risk-based decisions during production.
  • Strong fundamentals in statics, mechanics of materials, process improvement, factory design, fastening and joining, and machining.
  • Knowledge of drilling, trimming, manufacturing processes, tooling, inspection methods, and GD&T.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute work in a high-pressure environment while collaborating across engineering and manufacturing teams.

Nice to have

  • Experience with drilling, trimming, and fastening operations for aerospace products.
  • Successful new product introduction of an aerospace hardware system into manufacturing, testing, and production.
  • Experience managing projects in a fast-paced environment.
