Program Manager - Advanced Space Products

Location: Tempe, Arizona; US Government position

Salary: $120,500–$190,000 annually. For specific work locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area: $149,500–$224,500 annually.

What you will do

• Lead multiple concurrent programs involving spacecraft components and advanced satellite communications solutions.
• Develop build plans and manage procurement, contract manufacturers, in-house manufacturing, testing, and hardware delivery.
• Coordinate engineering, operations, and matrixed leadership resources to support program execution.
• Report program status, financial performance, risks, schedules, and execution results to leadership, customers, and stakeholders.
• Lead proposal cost estimates and contribute program management and execution content to capture and business development activities.
• Apply earned value management and risk management to control cost, schedule, and performance.

Requirements

• 6+ years of progressive experience in program management or project execution.
• Experience with program planning, financial accounting, contracts, risk management, earned value management, and program controls.
• Experience developing space systems, spacecraft, components, or complex electromechanical systems, including RF and optical communications.
• Experience manufacturing and testing space flight hardware.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline.
• US citizenship required; active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain it when administratively feasible. Must be able to obtain a United States Top Secret/SCI Clearance.

Nice to have

• Valid DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance with SSBI/SCI eligibility.
• PMP certification or equivalent.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related discipline.
• Experience managing concurrent operations and development programs.
