Program Manager (Maritime Robotics)

Location: San Diego, California; in-office. Travel of approximately 25–35% is required, including occasional travel outside the United States.

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 per year, plus stock options and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the execution of external and internal projects, including customer contracts, government and military exercises, and internal initiatives.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, staffing plans, budgets, and contract delivery milestones.
• Coordinate matrixed personnel across Engineering, Production, Fleet Operations, and Business Development.
• Manage customer relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for project execution.
• Track project hours, cash expenditures, invoicing inputs, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Prepare project documentation and lead internal and external project meetings.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience as a Project or Program Manager on government contracts.
• Experience with small engineering development projects or maritime operations contracts.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project plans, schedules, staffing, budgets, proposals, cost estimates, and technical approaches.
• Strong communication and customer relationship management skills, including the ability to coordinate matrixed personnel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Teams.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance and qualify as a U.S. person under export control laws; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
