What you will do

• Support day-to-day accounting functions and maintain and reconcile bank statements.
• Perform month-end close activities and prepare financial statement analysis.
• Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations and review general ledger transactions.
• Prepare supporting documentation for financial statement audits, tax provisions, and tax returns.
• Maintain accounting systems and internal controls while driving continuous process improvement.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support leadership requests.

Requirements

• 1+ year of internship or accounting experience, preferably in finance, consulting, or technology.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, Tax, Audit, or Finance.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including logical formulas, lookups, and pivot tables; Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Strong attention to detail, organization, prioritization, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, manage multiple workstreams, and deliver accurate output under pressure.

Nice to have

• Public accounting experience.
• Experience with Visual Basic or SQL.
