Staff Accountant (Healthcare)

Location: Remote - USA; candidates must have legal right to work in the United States without company sponsorship

Salary: $60,000–$75,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide primary accounting support for the rebate model.
• Review department and general ledger account coding for transaction accuracy and appropriateness.
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with recurring, non-recurring, and adjusting journal entries.
• Collect and prepare data for sales tax returns.
• Provide financial information and documentation for tax preparer requests.
• Collaborate with internal departments and adapt to changing business and project needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
• 1–2 years of professional accounting or auditing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of US GAAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Legal right to work in the United States without company sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, healthcare data, pharmaceuticals, or a related field.
