Accounts Payable Associate

Location: Manchester, United Kingdom; hybrid working with 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home

What you will do

• Process daily automated and manual payments through SAP and online banking.
• Manage queries from internal teams, external stakeholders, and vendors.
• Follow financial controls and maintain accurate supporting documentation.
• Review accounts payable processes, resolve payment issues, and identify efficiency improvements.
• Investigate, track, and resolve escalations while meeting KPIs and SLAs.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems, including SAP.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy, quality, and compliance.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisation, self-motivation, accountability, and workload management skills.
• Proactive and adaptable approach to continuous process improvement and performance management.
