Supply Chain Intern (Automotive/Aerospace Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Support procurement activities, including purchase orders, supplier communications, and delivery tracking.
• Assist with supply chain planning and scheduling to align material availability with production timelines.
• Monitor inventory levels and support cycle counts, audits, and improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, freight tracking, and shipping documentation.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks, risks, and optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with suppliers, Production, Engineering, and Program Management to support on-time delivery and quality standards.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Ability to lawfully access information and technology subject to US export controls.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Nice to have

• Previous internship or project experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP or MRP systems, including SAP or Oracle.
• Interest in advanced manufacturing, automotive, or aerospace industries.
