What you will do
- Supervise the plant’s Master Schedulers and Material Analysts, ensuring accurate materials-related records and accountability across the team.
- Manage plant transportation, inventory control, stock levels, material requirements planning, and related production software parameters.
- Coordinate materials and logistics requirements with new launch teams and act as the plant’s lead CBR subject matter expert.
- Work with customers and suppliers to maintain communication and improve full and on-time delivery.
- Develop cost-reduction initiatives and support cost-effective logistics and inventory strategies.
- Lead department training, audits, certification support, and compliance with quality, environmental, and OHS&E requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or equivalent additional experience preferred.
- At least three years of experience in Materials Management.
- Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and ERP systems, preferably QAD and SAP.
- Microsoft Excel experience.
- Automotive JIT knowledge is beneficial.
