Supply Chain Intern (Aerospace)

Location: Remote, based in Folsom, California; applicants must be U.S. Persons eligible to obtain required export authorizations.

Salary: $28–$30 USD per hour.

What you will do

• Build and maintain a comprehensive, searchable supplier intelligence database for engineering, materials, procurement, and subcontract administration teams.
• Support interim MRP tracking before NetSuite implementation, including material usage, scrap, transfers, and on-hand inventory.
• Maintain weekly open-order reports and track supplier purchase order acknowledgements.
• Assist with ERP procurement transactions, including purchase orders, returns, and planning parameter adjustments.
• Organize procurement and contract files, including NDAs, certifications, RFQs, quotes, technical evaluations, and negotiated terms.
• Track ship-to addresses and supplier commitments versus actual deliveries to support supplier performance monitoring.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program, preferably Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, data organization, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis.
• Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information in accordance with government standards.
• Ability to collaborate with peers, supervisors, and external vendors while managing multiple tasks.
• Must be a U.S. Person and eligible to obtain any required U.S. export authorizations.

Nice to have

• Internship, co-op, or coursework experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations.
• APICS CSCP or CPSM coursework in progress.
• Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with ERP or MRP concepts and materials management.
• Understanding of rapid prototyping transitions to production in defense or aerospace.
