Supply Chain Planner (Manufacturing)

Location: Bolingbrook, Illinois, United States

Salary: $85,000–$95,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain demand and supply plans using historical data, sales forecasts, and market trends.
• Plan production schedules with operations and procurement to meet customer delivery requirements and optimize resources.
• Manage material availability through MRP systems and maintain inventory levels for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Coordinate planning activities with Procurement, Production, Sales, and Logistics teams.
• Identify supply chain risks, develop mitigation plans, and monitor supplier performance and capacity.
• Support S&OP, KPI analysis, process improvements, system enhancements, and new product introductions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of SAP experience and MRP usage for material purchasing within the past 5 years.
• 3+ years of experience with forecasting and/or demand planning.
• Strong knowledge of SAP, MRP, forecasting tools, inventory management, and end-to-end supply chain processes.
• Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and formulas.
• Experience with purchase requisitions, stock transfer orders, inventory trend analysis, and target-level improvements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business is preferred, along with strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with SAP IBP.
