PreSales Engineer ECAD

Location: Fully remote within Germany, France, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, the UK, or Italy; hybrid location in Viernheim, Hesse. Travel across EMEA is required.

What you will do

• Support and drive ECAD-related sales opportunities across EMEA.
• Conduct customer workshops, discovery sessions, technical presentations, demos, proof of concepts, and technical evaluations.
• Translate customer requirements into ECAD and PLM integration solution concepts.
• Support RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes, proposals, and Statements of Work.
• Coordinate a small PreSales team and ensure consistent quality across customer engagements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Services, Product Management, Customer Success, and partners to enable smooth delivery handover.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in PreSales, Solution Consulting, or Technical Sales, such as PLM, ECAD, or engineering software.
• Strong understanding of ECAD/EDA processes and integration with PLM environments.
• Hands-on experience with ECAD/EDA tools such as Altium, Cadence, Siemens, EPLAN, or similar.
• Experience delivering demos, workshops, and proof of concepts, plus knowledge of product data management, digital thread, and enterprise integration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification.
• Fluent English required; willingness to travel across EMEA required.
