What you will do

• Lead, hire, mentor, and grow the technical pre-sales Solutions Architect and Solutions Engineer team for the UAE market.
• Improve the effectiveness and return on investment of Solutions Architect involvement in sales cycles.
• Drive solution- and value-based selling across the field engineering organization.
• Support complex sales cycles and communicate complex solutions in terms of business value.
• Build strategic partnerships with customer executives, partners, Sales, Marketing, and internal services.
• Strengthen implementation strategies and Databricks’ brand across the region.

Requirements

• Experience managing successful Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS professionals in consumption-based business environments.
• Experience mentoring and scaling technical teams and establishing processes that improve efficiency and product focus.
• Technical or consulting background in Data Engineering, database technologies, or Data Science.
• Ability to collaborate with Sales and cross-functional leaders and communicate complex business value clearly.
• Experience working with clients in the UAE.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
