Manager, Global Benefits

Location: Flexible hybrid model in Oakville, Toronto, or Waterloo, Ontario, Canada; approximately 10–20% international travel and quarterly visits to headquarters.

Salary: CAD 116,200–155,000 annual base salary

What you will do

• Design and execute a globally consistent benefits strategy across Canada, the United States, EMEA, the UAE, LATAM, and other markets.
• Lead annual planning, plan design reviews, renewals, benchmarking, cost modeling, regulatory filings, audits, and compliance activities.
• Manage benefits due diligence and integration workstreams for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Apply AI-powered tools, benefits platforms, predictive analytics, and data-driven workflows to improve program delivery and employee experience.
• Manage brokers, insurers, administrators, technology vendors, RFPs, contracts, and performance reviews.
• Lead and develop a global benefits team while producing KPI reporting and recommendations for senior leadership.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of benefits management experience, including at least 5 years in a global capacity.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience and 2–3 years leading in a matrixed or global HR environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, finance, or a related field, or equivalent progressive experience.
• Expertise in benefits design and administration across North America, EMEA, including Dubai and the UAE, and LATAM.
• Experience with vendor negotiations, executive reporting, cost modeling, utilization analysis, M&A benefits integration, and multi-jurisdictional compliance, including GDPR and PIPEDA.
• Ability to work in a flexible hybrid model and travel approximately 10–20% internationally.

Nice to have

• CEBS, CHRL, GPHR, SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, or an equivalent professional HR certification.
