Senior Staff People Technologist (AI)

Location: Remote, anywhere in Canada

Salary: $118,400–$162,800 CAD base salary per year

What you will do

• Support and maintain the end-to-end People Technology roadmap across HRIS, ATS, performance management, and related platforms.
• Centralize and optimize People Tech systems to create efficient, scalable processes across People & Culture.
• Design and implement automation and AI-powered workflows that improve employee experiences and reduce manual work.
• Partner with People Experience, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, People Business Partners, IT, and other stakeholders to prioritize technology needs.
• Build and maintain API integrations and cross-system data flows while protecting data integrity and integration health.
• Evaluate and implement HR technology solutions and advise leadership on strategic investments.

Requirements

• Experience owning and administering HR technology portfolios, including HRIS, ATS, and performance management systems.
• Hands-on expertise in automation, AI-powered workflows, API design, and system integrations.
• Ability to contribute to multi-year technology roadmaps and provide strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Experience working in a hub-and-spoke or shared-services model while balancing competing stakeholder needs.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical People & Culture partners.
• Must be located in Canada for this remote position.
