Asset Protection Associate (Security)

Location: Onsite at 451 FM 686, Dayton, Texas, United States. Second shift: 6:00 PM–4:00 AM, Monday–Thursday. Various schedules may be discussed during the interview.

Salary: $21.20–$24.70 per hour, with possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour depending on schedule, facility, season, or work performed.

What you will do

• Support facility security staff and monitor and maintain access control equipment.
• Address employee health and safety hazards, emergency response needs, and workers’ compensation issues.
• Conduct daily building, compliance, and food safety audits and prepare audit reports.
• Support EHS training initiatives and explain relevant processes and procedures to contractors.
• Participate in investigations, root cause analysis, and process improvement activities.
• Collect and analyze data, check data quality, and use existing systems and templates to create reports.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience as a Walmart associate, or 1 year of work experience or coursework in criminal justice, loss prevention, asset protection, safety, compliance, security, military, or public safety.
• Knowledge of asset protection policies, security practices, OSHA guidelines, safety compliance, and food safety auditing processes.
• Ability to communicate clearly, collaborate with managers and business partners, and complete assigned priorities.
• Ability to work onsite at the Dayton, Texas facility and on the scheduled second shift.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and OneDrive experience.
• Additional work experience or coursework in criminal justice, loss prevention, asset protection, safety, compliance, security, military, or public safety.
