Security Specialist

Location: Onsite in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States

Salary: $35.49–$53.24 per hour

What you will do

• Lead district-level security programs protecting people, assets, and brand integrity.
• Conduct security risk assessments and respond to urgent security matters.
• Investigate workplace violence, security breaches, losses, fraud, and integrity concerns through interviews and evidence reviews.
• Liaise with law enforcement and regulatory agencies on investigations and compliance matters.
• Monitor surveillance cameras, access control systems, security plans, and program metrics.
• Visit customers in person as needed to address lost, pilfered, or damaged shipments and formulate security action plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in corporate security, audit, military, law enforcement, transportation, supply chain loss prevention, loss analytics, or a related field.
• At least three years of related professional experience.
• Strong interpersonal communication, writing, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft-based computer programs and ability to prepare detailed reports.
• Valid driver’s license required to operate a company vehicle.
• Ability to work onsite in Salt Lake City, Utah, in an industrial environment; travel may be necessary.
