Operations Safety Specialist

What you will do

• Deliver instructor-led safety training and informational sessions to groups and individuals.
• Support field operations and apply safety-focused practices to operational activities.
• Develop data analysis methods and interpret results to identify safety issues.
• Anticipate problems and develop efficient, fact-based solutions.
• Manage multiple projects, prioritize workloads, and plan resources to meet deadlines.
• Build relationships and motivate teams through collaboration and shared safety objectives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree in Safety, Health and Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred.
• At least six months of experience in instructor-led training, field operations, or a related area.
• Ability to facilitate presentations, build collaborative relationships, and motivate teams.
• Ability to analyze data, interpret results, exercise sound judgment, and solve problems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
• Knowledge of safety concepts, practices, policies, and procedures related to operations is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in a safety-focused leadership role.
• Certification from ASSP, NSC, OSHA Training Institute, or an accredited college.
