EHS&S Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: Riverside, California, USA; onsite at a machining and assembly facility

Salary: $71,000–$94,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead environmental, health, safety, and security programs for the Riverside facility.
• Conduct inspections and audits, identify compliance gaps, and implement corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, determine root causes, and manage preventive actions.
• Analyze EHS&S metrics and facility data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and deliver training on hazard communication, lockout/tagout, hazardous waste, and stormwater management.
• Support emergency preparedness, regulatory inspections, capital projects, contractor activities, pollution prevention, and resource efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least one year of industrial environmental, health, and safety experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of federal, state, local, and company environmental, health, safety, and security requirements.
• Experience with machine guarding, lockout/tagout, regulatory interpretation, and employee training.
• Strong communication, recordkeeping, organizational, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

• Experience supporting machining and assembly operations.
• Spanish language proficiency to communicate with and train a diverse workforce.
