Operations Manager (Energy)

Location: Denver, CO, 80216; onsite position. On-call availability is required.

Salary: $112,200–$159,400 per year.

What you will do

• Supervise operations teams across multiple functions and facilities while ensuring safe, reliable, compliant, and cost-effective performance.
• Lead safety meetings, job briefs, audits, training, accident investigations, event assessments, and job-site observations.
• Evaluate operational efficiency, reliability, quality, and data-integrity metrics and drive corrective actions and process improvements.
• Lead crew effectiveness, workforce planning, resource forecasting, productivity, and operational reliability.
• Recruit, coach, train, and manage employee performance and engagement, including bargaining-unit discussions and grievances.
• Coordinate work documentation and execution in accordance with company policies, labor agreements, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in utility systems or power generation plant design, construction, operations, engineering, maintenance, or a related field.
• Technical expertise in applicable standards, procedures, and government or environmental regulations.
• Knowledge of work and asset management systems and analytical or reporting applications.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change, communicate strategies, achieve operational metrics, and ensure process adherence.
• Associate or technical degree preferred.

Nice to have

• Three years of supervisory experience.
• Experience working as or with bargaining-unit employees.
• Direct power plant or combustion turbine experience.
• Production industry experience.
