What you will do

• Analyze and evaluate procedures, processes, records, risks, and related controls for sufficiency and effectiveness.
• Assess areas including pipeline safety, occupational safety, environmental compliance, company processes, activities, and assets.
• Schedule and support panel discussions and interviews with internal stakeholders.
• Collect assessment data and prepare tracking reports for Quality Assurance management.
• Identify actual or potential gaps and coordinate timely completion of assessments and continuous improvement plans.
• Prepare for regulatory inspections and compliance activities related to 49 CFR 190–199 and state pipeline safety regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field and three years of quality assurance or industry-related operations or regulatory compliance experience; alternatively, a high school diploma or GED and five years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work with multiple departments and external stakeholders.
• Ability to read and interpret federal and state regulations related to enterprise procedures and processes.
• Ability to perform algebraic, trigonometric, and geometric operations, as well as moderately complex statistical or accounting methods.
• Advanced knowledge of software applications for creating complex documents, reports, and graphics.
• Work is predominantly office-based, with occasional outdoor activities and possible overnight travel.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
