Supervisor – Dispatch & ECC

Location: On-site in Orange, Connecticut, or East Hartford, Connecticut, United States

Salary: $116,640–$145,800 per year, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Supervise union and non-union dispatch and field operations personnel, including performance, staffing, discipline, sickness, and work quality.
• Coordinate same-day dispatching for emergency, non-emergency, planned, and unplanned work.
• Direct dispatcher staffing, overtime reduction, leak response, and customer appointment performance.
• Review construction workloads and assign work to contractors.
• Oversee construction work-order data entry, service cards, supporting records, and state permits.
• Participate in safety and process improvement programs and provide field coverage through a 24/7/365 on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Business Administration, or a high school diploma with 13 years of gas operations experience.
• Technical proficiency as a gas operations dispatcher.
• Strong knowledge of gas field operations policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Strong working knowledge of systems used in the Dispatch office.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Connecticut and participate in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation.
