Safety Governance Senior Advisor (EHS)

Location: Hybrid in Rosemead, California; employees are required to work and reside in California. The role includes periodic on-call reporting during the day, night, and weekends for emergencies. Relocation does not apply.

Salary: $143,900–$215,800 per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain safety governance plans, processes, and approaches that support safety culture transformation.
• Build partnerships with safety teams, councils, governance groups, and organizational influencers.
• Contribute to safety policy development and implement programs aligned with federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Create safety training programs, conduct presentations, and support accident prevention efforts.
• Lead project hazard analysis and risk assessment while overseeing hazard identification and mitigation.
• Oversee incident investigations, corrective actions, and emergency response activities as part of the Incident Management Team.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of experience leading and developing health and safety compliance programs, activities, and systems.
• Valid Class C driver's license.
• Strong oral and written communication, business planning, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with leaders, staff, and contractors at all levels.
• Ability to work and reside in California in a hybrid arrangement.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, communications, organizational behavior, or a related discipline.
• Experience developing project or business plans and work processes.
• Experience creating presentations for varied audiences and leading project or program teams.
