Senior Software Developer (GEOINT)

What you will do

• Lead the architecture, design, development, and deployment of the GeoSURE geospatial evaluation system.
• Build automated GEOINT data-ingestion, IV&V metrics, validation, and data-quality pipelines.
• Design secure storage architectures for metadata tagging, rapid retrieval, and long-term archival.
• Develop the GeoSURE Toolbox with interactive visualization, 3D/4D rendering, and geospatial and temporal analysis features.
• Automate DevSecOps deployment to NGA Research Lab Environment and Common Operations Release Environment networks.
• Apply Software Assurance and Protection requirements, including code scanning, vulnerability mitigation, and authorization-to-operate activities.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance required.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering and systems architecture experience.
• Experience with GEOINT products and geospatial libraries such as GDAL, PDAL, Leaflet, Cesium, or Esri APIs.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or Java, with experience building ETL and data-ingestion pipelines and integrating enterprise databases.
• Experience developing interactive web applications with React, Vue, or Angular.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, automated testing, secure AWS/C2S cloud environments, and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with NGA systems and repositories, including GRiD, NCL, or GEGD.
• CI Poly and familiarity with NGA CORE and RLE deployment frameworks.
• Experience with SWAP approval and intelligence-community security compliance.
• Experience with advanced geospatial analysis, 3D/4D rendering, or time-series analysis.
