Relationship Banker

Location: Brooklyn, NY, United States; branch-based role with in-person customer service and branch hours that may include weekends and evenings.

Salary: $38,250–$61,000 annual base pay.

What you will do

• Build and maintain customer relationships by understanding financial needs and providing tailored banking, lending, and investment solutions.
• Promote and cross-sell banking products and services to existing and prospective customers while meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Prospect for new customers through networking, referrals, lead calling, portfolio management, and community engagement.
• Deliver personalized service, resolve concerns, and educate customers about digital banking and self-service options.
• Collaborate with branch colleagues and partners to achieve performance goals and support nearby branches when needed.
• Follow regulatory requirements and internal policies related to risk management and fraud prevention.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 3 years of experience selling products or services in an incentive-based environment, or qualifying experience in retail banking, financial services, consultative relationship sales, or hirify.global.
• At least 12 months of customer service experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Strong relationship-building, customer service, sales, cross-selling, communication, consultative, and influence skills.
• Proficiency with digital tools, computers, and basic math, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow policies.
• Must be legally authorized to work full time in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, training, military service, or education.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
