What you will do
- Lead the Customer Acceptance and Delivery Multi-Functional Team for A220 aircraft deliveries.
- Manage technical, industrial, certification, definition, quality, and planning risks from pre-final assembly through ferry flight.
- Monitor aircraft assembly, negotiate complex technical and industrial topics, and coordinate mitigation actions to protect delivery milestones.
- Lead customer communications, manage acceptance and delivery blocking issues, and coordinate with functions, suppliers, airlines, and lessors.
- Define customer presentation programs and manage feedback loops to drive continuous improvement across subsequent aircraft.
- Conduct Aircraft Status Review Meetings and manage Main Manufacturing Incident notifications to customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent aeronautical technical experience; 8 years of aviation experience may substitute for a degree.
- At least 8 years of combined aeronautical and customer-focused product support experience.
- Aircraft technical knowledge covering structure, cabin, systems, and avionics.
- Strong negotiation, influencing, communication, and customer-facing skills.
- Ability to work 100% onsite in Mobile, Alabama, and eligibility for employment in the United States without sponsorship.
- Ability to travel independently and at short notice; approximately 10% domestic and international travel is required.
Nice to have
- Previous CAM, DTM, CAQM, or similar experience in aircraft production pre-delivery or aircraft delivery environments.
- Understanding of airline operations and the ability to translate customer challenges for internal stakeholders.
- Experience working constructively in multicultural environments.
