Senior Clinical Sales Specialist, Trauma (MedTech)

Location: California (any city), Los Angeles, United States; residence in or ability to relocate to the assigned geographic region is required. Frequent travel within the U.S., including overnight and weekend travel, is expected.

Salary: $54,000–$87,400 base pay per year.

What you will do

• Guide and assist surgeons in operating rooms during orthopedic trauma procedures.
• Provide direct customer support as the company representative at surgical cases, ensuring equipment is available and functioning.
• Troubleshoot physician and hospital requests, manage billing, and build or close purchase orders.
• Share customer, procedural, and market insights with sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic account teams.
• Maintain, track, and deploy instruments, implants, equipment, and other assets across the assigned territory.
• Provide operating room and sterile processing consultation and support logistics between hospitals and sales representatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or an associate degree/medical certification with at least 2 years of professional experience, or at least 4 years of professional experience; recently transitioned military personnel may also qualify.
• Ability to reside in or relocate to the assigned geographic region and travel throughout the U.S. with frequent overnight or weekend travel.
• Valid driver’s license issued in the United States.
• Ability to work in a laboratory and operating room environment.
• Strong interpersonal communication, influencing, critical thinking, problem-solving, prioritization, and independent working skills.
• Functional knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, basic surgical knowledge, and strong attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Technical knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols, and solutions.
• Experience with data analysis and working in complex organizational structures.
