What you will do

• Maintain network operations for missile defense ground test laboratory systems at the Advanced Research Center.
• Troubleshoot and manage communications network systems, routers, switches, and related equipment.
• Configure physical and virtual switching and routing environments.
• Support modeling and simulation, Hardware-in-the-Loop, ground test, and flight test activities.
• Provide problem-solving options and adapt network support to changing test requirements.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• An active U.S. secret security clearance is required, or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field or equivalent experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher, such as Security+ CE, and the ability to maintain it.
• 5–7 years of related experience troubleshooting and managing communications network systems.
• Knowledge of DoD networking security, common network protocols, dynamic routing, and Cisco hardware and systems.

Nice to have

• Experience in a Department of War environment.
• Experience with test activities or BMDS.
• Experience in data center design, rack layout, electrical requirements, and cooling requirements.
• Experience working in secured spaces.
