Licensed Clinical Behavioral Health Professional

Location: Tyrone, Georgia, United States. Full-time schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with lunch from 1:00–2:00 p.m. Care is provided through virtual and in-person appointments at the Health Center.

What you will do

• Provide psychotherapy and counseling to individuals, groups, couples, and families.
• Use strengths-based and evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, Written Exposure Therapy, and CAMS.
• Assess and diagnose psychological, emotional, and behavioral issues using patient assessments and records.
• Support patients with stress, substance abuse, family issues, personal development, and treatment goals.
• Participate in consultation, case management, care coordination, and referral activities.
• Maintain accurate patient charts and clinical records.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or an equivalent field.
• Current mental health clinician license meeting applicable state requirements, such as LCSW, LPC, LPCC, LMHC, LMFT, LPCMH, or LCPC. LMSW is not accepted across states.
• For New York roles, accepted licenses include LCSW, LMHC-D, and LMFT-D.
• At least 4 years of experience in behavioral health or a related field, including counseling for depression, mood disorders, substance dependency, family and marital issues, grief, and loss.
• Experience with crisis management, abuse reporting, cultural competence, suicide-risk identification and treatment, and referral management.
• CAMS certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
