What you will do

• Conduct individual alcohol and drug abuse counseling and group sessions.
• Orient patients to treatment program procedures and provide intake, readmission, and follow-up counseling.
• Collect and assess social, educational, economic, and vocational information.
• Develop and revise patient treatment plans, maintain comprehensive records, and provide referrals.
• Provide crisis intervention, coordinate care with community providers, and complete inter-agency documentation.
• Support OBOT services, staff training, program implementation, and compliance with regulatory and accrediting standards.

Requirements

• Human services-related bachelor’s or master’s degree, according to state requirements.
• Active CSAC certification is required.
• Knowledge of substance use disorders, treatment planning, human behavior, and human social services.
• Ability to make sound decisions, handle confidential information, respond effectively in stressful situations, and seek supervisory guidance when needed.
• Compliance with applicable federal and state certification, licensure, and degree requirements.
