Salary: $88,488–$100,554 per year

What you will do

• Perform construction inspections for long-term bridge, highway, rail, roadway, drainage, utility, and municipal projects.
• Inspect asphalt, concrete, rail, and steel construction activities.
• Support reconstruction projects ranging from $25M to $1B in value.
• Work on projects involving organizations such as DRPA, NJ Transit, NJ Turnpike, NJDOT, and PANYNJ.
• Use construction management software including CapEx, Site Manager, eBuilder, and BIM 360.
• Work nights and weekends as needed and perform duties outdoors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of construction inspection experience with NICET 2, or at least 8 years with NICET 3, NICET 4, or a PE.
• Experience with roadway/highway, bridge, drainage, utility, or other municipal projects.
• Relevant certifications such as NICET, NJSAT Asphalt, or ACI Concrete.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed and work outdoors.

Nice to have

• At least 8 years of highway or bridge construction inspection experience on projects valued at $10M or more.
• A combination of NJSAT, ACI, and Rutgers TCC certifications.
