Specialist, Safety and Compliance

Location: Santa Fe Springs, California, United States; frequent regional travel with occasional overnight stays is required.

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 per year, plus a 10% bonus.

What you will do

• Support the implementation of safety and regulatory compliance programs across assigned locations and business functions.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and audits to identify operational risks.
• Support vehicle and DOT compliance activities.
• Track corrective actions, compliance tasks, training records, and regulatory documentation.
• Assist with incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Coordinate safety training and engagement efforts, and prepare reports, presentations, and data analysis.

Requirements

• Leadership, influence, professionalism, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, follow-through, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and execute effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the region, including occasional overnight stays.
• Valid driver's license.
• Valid U.S. employment authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree.
• ASSP certification or related safety credentials.
• Business acumen connecting safety and compliance objectives with operational performance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, including spreadsheets, reporting, presentations, and collaboration tools.
