Maintenance Mechanic II-2 (Industrial Maintenance)

Location: Memphis, Tennessee, USA; onsite industrial production environment. Rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays are required.

What you will do

• Install, align, maintain, overhaul, and repair manufacturing and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical failures, including pumps, motors, conveyors, valves, bearings, belts, hoses, and centrifuges.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and execute assigned work orders.
• Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs and VSDs, perform PLC 2 and 5 programming, and use Allen-Bradley shop computers for analysis.
• Install and repair electrical fixtures, wiring, motor-controlled circuits, and plant utility systems.
• Perform vibration measurement, advanced soldering, acetylene cutting, welding, and pipe fitting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, a trade school, technical institute, or a related environment.
• Successful completion of the company-administered Skill Demo Test is mandatory.
• Working knowledge of pumps, conveyors, pipe fitting, welding, and motor-controlled circuits.
• Ability to operate computers and computerized control systems, wear job-specific PPE, and tolerate hot and cold conditions.
