Maintenance Mechanic (Industrial Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance to prevent equipment breakdowns and operational downtime.
• Investigate equipment breakdowns and production-line stoppages using root-cause analysis in collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
• Prioritize and complete maintenance, repair, and installation work for equipment, tools, and utility systems.
• Repair and maintain industrial production and processing machinery, including inspection, assembly, disassembly, and component replacement.
• Diagnose machinery malfunctions by observing and evaluating equipment operation.
• Manage work orders, spare-parts checkouts, maintenance records, reports, and safety-performance inspections in the computerized maintenance documentation system.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to walk, stand, sit, climb, and lift or carry up to 50 lb.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.
• Ability to qualify to wear a full-face respirator and follow operational and safety standards.
