Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Taylor, Texas, United States; day shift and onsite production work required.

What you will do

• Direct and coordinate production activities through task leaders across products, processes, equipment, materials, and production methods.
• Manage production capacity, manpower priorities, schedules, quality standards, and departmental metrics.
• Develop and implement programs to improve yield, throughput, on-time delivery, productivity, and total cost of production.
• Coordinate with maintenance, sales, customer service, materials management, purchasing, and other departments to optimize resources and information flow.
• Lead team communication, employee management, safety awareness, and compliance with environmental and plant requirements.
• Ensure process deviations, standard operating procedures, work instructions, and plant records are properly executed and maintained.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage hourly teams to achieve production schedules and results.
• Strong analytical, organizational, written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to establish process controls, measurable objectives, and product quality and lead-time requirements.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems, perform root cause analysis, and implement process improvements.
• Bachelor’s degree in management, business, operations, or a technical discipline, or equivalent job-related experience; ability to lift 50–100 pounds and frequently stand, walk, and lift.

• Experience driving improvement through Lean Manufacturing or similar process improvement programs.
