Lead Collections Specialist (Financial Services)

Location: On-site in Euclid, Ohio, with travel to branches within and outside the assigned district

Salary: $18.00–$24.00 per hour, plus performance-based additional compensation

What you will do

• Manage high-volume collections activity across an assigned district and work toward delinquency goals.
• Contact customers to understand their circumstances and arrange repayment or settlement solutions.
• Negotiate respectfully while maintaining a positive customer experience.
• Partner with Branch Managers and branch teams to identify performance trends and provide targeted collections support.
• Train and coach branch employees on delinquency management, account resolution, and collection best practices.
• Maintain accurate account documentation and follow company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years of experience in collections, consumer lending, financial services, or account resolution.
• Strong customer service, relationship-building, negotiation, judgment, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload, prioritize effectively, and work toward performance goals.
• Ability to influence, coach, and build trust with customers and colleagues.
• Willingness and ability to travel to branches within and outside the assigned district.

Nice to have

• Experience coaching, mentoring, or training others.
• Experience supporting multiple branches, locations, or teams.
