What you will do

• Lead daily Collections team operations, monitor queue activity, and prioritize workloads against service levels and performance goals.
• Supervise Collections specialists and manage escalated or high-risk collection situations.
• Analyze collections data, prepare operational reports, and identify performance trends and improvement opportunities.
• Train, coach, mentor, and provide side-by-side support to new and existing specialists.
• Maintain accurate account documentation and ensure compliance with investor, regulatory, and company standards.
• Conduct performance reviews, support hiring and onboarding, and complete audits or special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years of mortgage servicing and collections experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of collections procedures, best practices, and state and federal Fair Debt Collection laws.
• Working knowledge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code and related procedures and regulations.
• Successful background and credit checks are required as a condition of employment where permitted by law.
