Credit Lead - Sponsor Finance

Location: In office at 555 South Flower Street, Los Angeles, California, US 90071

Salary: $141,830–$263,408 per year, plus eligibility for bonus and/or commissions.

What you will do

• Lead and manage Credit Solutions colleagues across multiple levels, providing functional guidance, risk coaching, and performance management.
• Oversee credit analysis, underwriting, portfolio management, credit adjudication, and approval discussions for assigned sponsor finance portfolios.
• Monitor portfolio performance and maintain credit quality in line with risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
• Manage workflows, review colleagues’ work products, and ensure accurate deliverables are completed within cycle times.
• Coach and develop team members while supporting talent management and continuous improvement.
• Drive business growth through strategic planning, market analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and ad-hoc projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of progressively increasing experience in credit underwriting and portfolio management.
• At least 3 years of leadership and coaching experience in underwriting or credit management, including informal leadership.
• Advanced knowledge of credit management, lending operations, and risk management principles.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
• Industry-specific expertise and the ability to work with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
