Senior Manager, Talent Development & Performance

Location: San Francisco, CA; hybrid work model with onsite commitment Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Work from home on Monday and Friday.

Annual base salary: $227,500–$237,500, plus a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Own the strategy, design, and execution of firm-wide onboarding and talent development programs.
• Translate institutional knowledge into live training, cohort-based programs, case studies, playbooks, and self-guided resources.
• Own and evolve performance management, including annual reviews, mid-year check-ins, calibration, and manager enablement.
• Partner on career development and leveling by connecting frameworks with expectations, development priorities, and growth conversations.
• Build tools and programs that strengthen manager effectiveness, feedback, coaching, and employee development.
• Measure talent program effectiveness and improve programs based on employee and manager feedback.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Talent Development, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, People Development, or a related field.
• Experience owning multiple parts of the talent lifecycle, including learning and development, performance management, career development, or manager development.
• Proven ability to design and implement onboarding and development programs from strategy through execution.
• Ability to turn complex or specialized knowledge into clear, engaging, and practical learning experiences.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, written communication, judgment, and credibility with senior leaders.
• Experience in or meaningful exposure to private equity, investment management, banking, or related financial services is strongly preferred.
