Assistant Health and Wellness Director (RN) (Senior Living)

Location: Toms River, New Jersey, USA; onsite

Salary: $90,000–$95,000 yearly

What you will do

• Plan, organize, and direct clinical operations for the nursing department in collaboration with the Director of Clinical Services.
• Develop and implement resident wellness programs with the Activity Director.
• Assess residents and create initial and comprehensive Individual Service Plans according to required timelines.
• Oversee nursing care, maintain resident documentation, prepare resident charges, and support billing approvals.
• Investigate resident and family concerns and ensure identified problems are resolved.
• Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate nursing staff.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• At least two years of supervisory experience in senior living, assisted living, long-term care, or skilled care.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office, including Windows, Outlook, and Excel.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, kneel, reach, and perform other physical duties associated with resident care.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and support residents using proper body mechanics.
