Director, Learning & Skills at Scale (AI)

Location: Chicago, IL, USA; hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week, Monday–Thursday

Salary: $125,000–$175,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual incentive program

What you will do

• Design and lead an enterprise-wide learning and skills strategy aligned with future-of-work priorities.
• Oversee leadership development programs from emerging leaders through executives and build a scalable leadership pipeline.
• Drive manager effectiveness initiatives focused on coaching, feedback, change leadership, and team development.
• Curate skills-based learning journeys using AI-enabled and adaptive learning technologies.
• Manage learning technology and content vendors, including selection, contracting, and relationships.
• Lead the Learning & Skills organization and track learning completion, skills growth, ROI, and business impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; a master’s degree in organizational development or a related field is preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in talent management or human resources.
• Strong expertise in succession planning, high-potential development, and strategic workforce planning.
• Experience leading initiatives and influencing stakeholders across all organizational levels.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to align talent solutions with business goals and emerging trends.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across diverse teams and leaders.
