Key Account Manager

Location: Houston, TX, USA; extensive travel required, including more than 50% globally.

What you will do

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and senior leaders in assigned customer accounts.
• Execute global account strategies in coordination with the Global Account Manager.
• Understand customer objectives, challenges, R&D priorities, and strategic requirements to align solutions.
• Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding services within existing accounts.
• Lead technical discussions and support customer decision-making in line with engineering standards and policies.
• Develop account plans to achieve order intake, sales, and margin targets with local and global teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Substantial sales and account management experience, including negotiation of frame agreements, contract terms, and related legal or commercial matters.
• Strong networking, relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Recognized expertise with OEMs for rotating equipment and knowledge of related end-user markets.
• Ability and willingness to travel more than 50% globally, with required travel documentation and physical ability to meet travel demands.
• Experience working in a global, culturally diverse organization is preferred.
