Project Engineer (Scroll Compressors)

What you will do

• Execute product development for fixed-speed residential scroll compressors from early prototypes through final release.
• Use analytical tools to optimize products and components for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with designers, advanced manufacturing engineers, laboratories, manufacturing plants, and global technical teams.
• Apply DFMEA to identify technical risks and drive qualification plans.
• Manage technical timelines, milestones, deliverables, prototyping, testing, and validation.
• Ensure engineering standards, quality requirements, regulatory compliance, and Lean principles are applied while presenting technical data and project updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or an equivalent field.
• 1–5+ years of experience with new product development through a systematic product release process.
• Experience with scroll compressor design and development.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and HVAC principles.
• Structured problem-solving, project management, organization, and communication skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; candidates needing current or future sponsorship are not eligible.
