Quality Engineer 2 – Quality Sys & ISO

Salary: $86,000–$111,783 annually, plus eligibility for quarterly incentive pay.

What you will do

• Manage and govern CMR and CII processes, track project status, coordinate owners, and drive timely closure.
• Validate completed corrective actions and ensure approved changes are integrated into quality processes and operating practices.
• Support QIT and executive management review meetings, quality metrics, reporting, and ETQ administration.
• Review and maintain process documentation, forms, work instructions, and document change flows.
• Plan and lead internal ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 audits, prepare reports, and generate related CIIs.
• Support customer audits, systemic quality issue resolution, root cause analysis, and supplier quality activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in quality engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing.
• Experience with root cause analysis, problem-solving, quality management software, analytical methods, and data interpretation.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to work in a general office and manufacturing environment, travel up to 10%, and perform occasional light lifting, stooping, and standing.

• Experience with statistical process control and advanced quality planning.
• Familiarity with industry-specific quality standards and regulations.
• Plant operations or issue resolution experience.
