Corporate Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Downers Grove, Illinois, at the corporate office

Salary: $85,000–$95,000 annually, based on education and experience

What you will do

• Audit and improve quality systems, process monitoring, and data collection tools across manufacturing facilities.
• Support new product launches and manufacturing quality improvement initiatives.
• Develop and validate testing and inspection protocols.
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, preventive actions, and continuous improvement projects.
• Use statistical analysis and Statistical Process Control to improve quality performance.
• Collaborate with suppliers, customers, product development teams, and plant functions on quality initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging, Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or Quality Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and quality tools.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to interact with material scientists, tool and process engineers, product development teams, suppliers, customers, and manufacturing functions.
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Quality, or Quality Systems.

Nice to have

• Experience in metal closures manufacturing.
• Knowledge of statistics, problem solving, and quality management equipment and systems.
