Patient Access Representative - Part Time (8 hours/week)

Salary: $19.62–$29.74 per hour, based on applicable experience.

What you will do

• Register hospital admissions and outpatient services accurately and in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Collect required patient information and participate in collecting deductibles and co-pays.
• Verify insurance information and support authorization-related processes.
• Answer multi-line telephone calls and greet, assist, and direct patients and visitors.
• Work with hospital, clinic, and revenue cycle personnel.

Requirements

• Current computer experience with Microsoft products.
• Previous cash-handling experience.
• Part-time availability for 8 hours per week, primarily Sunday and Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Ability to work onsite at the Ellensburg, Washington location.

Nice to have

• Healthcare registration experience.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and authorization processes.
